GETTING TO CORSICA
Corsica can be reached by air or by sea. The north west of the island can be reached
in the following ways:-
By air to Calvi airport
- Charter services to UK during summer months from Gatwick and
Stanstead direct, usually on Sundays. Scheduled services run all year to Marseille, Nice and Paris using Air France/CCM airline.
From these airports there are services from Gatwick, Stansted, Heathrow and Luton with airlines British Airways, Easyjet,
BMI, and Air France.
By air to Bastia airport
- A direct scheduled service 3 times a week by BA now runs from
May to October from Gatwick to Bastia. Charter services also run during summer months to Gatwick and Stansted direct, usually
on Sundays. Scheduled services all year to Marseille, Nice and Paris using Air France/CCM airlines. From these airprorts there
are services from Gatwick, Stansted, Heathrow and Luton with airlines British Airways, Easyjet, BMI, Air France.
By sea to Ile Rousse and Calvi
ports - Scheduled services run all year to
Marseille, Toulon and Nice. They also operate into the port of Bastia. Other services are available to Italy, Elba, Livorno
and Sardinia.
Cars can be rented at all of the above airports and ports using car hire companies such as ADA, Hertz, Avis, Budget, Europcar
etc
.
